A message about Masha and Dubrovsky. Why does Dubrovsky confess to Masha Troekurova? Noble and honest robber

One of the important storylines The novel is a love story between Dubrovsky and Troekurova.

A wedding is taking place in a cold empty church. Masha Troekurova is married off to an unloved man much older than her. Neither the girl's tears nor her pleas touched her father's heart. Masha before last minute I was hoping for a miracle. She waited: Dubrovsky was about to rush in and upset the wedding. The miracle did not happen, the ceremony was over. The young people got into the carriage and went to the estate of Prince Vereisky. Suddenly the horses stopped, the carriage door swung open, and a man in a half-mask turned to the young princess: “You are free, come out.” It was Dubrovsky. However, Masha shook her head and mournfully replied that she was now the wife of Prince Vereisky.
...Vladimir Dubrovsky and Masha Troekurova lost their mothers early. They played together as children, and even then Masha promised to be a beauty. Vladimir was sent to be raised in St. Petersburg, and Masha grew up before her father’s eyes. The young people met under sad circumstances.
Vladimir left St. Petersburg and returned to his father’s estate when he learned that Andrei Gavrilovich was dying. To take revenge on Kirila Petrovich, Vladimir got a job in Troekurov’s house as the tutor of his son Sasha. Hiding under the name of the Frenchman Deforge, Vladimir had the opportunity to be close to Masha. Gradually, Masha realized that she was not indifferent to the young Frenchman. And then she received a note from him inviting her to come to the gazebo by the stream. Masha was waiting for recognition, and it came. Dubrovsky revealed to Masha that he was not the Frenchman Deforge at all, but the son of Andrei Gavrilovich Dubrovsky, her father’s worst enemy.

So Masha found out that Vladimir is the leader of the local robbers. She also learned that for her sake he gave up revenge on her father. Dubrovsky could no longer stay in these places, but he asked Masha to remember that he loved her and, if necessary, would always come to her aid.
And so Masha needed the help of her loved one: she was supposed to be married to the old Prince Vereisky. The girl lets Vladimir know about this, but Dubrovsky is late.
True to duty, Masha cannot follow her beloved: she was married in a church and now belongs to someone else... The carriage with Masha and her old husband moved to the prince’s estate...
This is how the romantic love story of Masha Troekurova and Vladimir Dubrovsky ended sadly.

Last week, a friend called me, all exhausted and tortured: for a week she and her sixth-grader son could not write an essay on “Dubrovsky.” I asked for help... To my shame, I haven’t read Dubrovsky. I haven't read anything from school curriculum, except for The Master and Margarita. Total for all 10 classes - only one book by Bulgakov...

Meanwhile, all my essays, without exception (!), were “A”. I can’t imagine how this happened:) And my literature teacher, Lyudmila Ivanovna, seeing my excellent written ideas and considering me a literary flea, therefore never asked verbally. That's all 10 school years I also got an A in literature. And she went to the diploma, yes, sir...

Returning to “Dubrovsky”: it was 10 pm, and my dear, beloved friend, so there was nothing to do - I went to my favorite lib.ru to look for “our everything.” I skimmed the last two chapters of the work, read the plot on Wikipedia, and wrote an essay. The next day, my friend’s son brought home an “A” in literature (which I had no doubt about).

I’m posting it here in case some other cub might find it useful. Use it! If necessary, I’ll spank you again...

An essay about

« The love story of Masha and Vladimir"
(based on the work of A.S. Pushkin “Dubrovsky”
)

“Bear with dignity what you cannot change.”
Lucius Annaeus Seneca

On the pages of the story by A.S. Pushkin "Dubrovsky" I met with two romantic heroes— Masha Troekurova and Vladimir Dubrovsky. The destinies of these heroes have a lot in common: they are approximately the same age, both lost their mothers early, and grew up as the only children in the family.

Masha “grew up in the eyes of her parent,” “her father loved her madly.” Masha was meek, modest, obedient.
Vladimir Dubrovsky was raised in the Cadet Corps from the age of eight, from where he joined the guard as a cornet. Lived in St. Petersburg. “Being wasteful and ambitious, he allowed himself luxurious whims; played cards and went into debt, not caring about the future, and envisioning sooner or later a rich bride, the dream of his poor youth.” However, having learned from the nanny that his father was bad, he immediately dropped everything and went home. Appearing in the house, he decided to take revenge on the master Kirill Petrovich Troekurov, who, by vile deception, took away the Kistenevka estate from Vladimir’s father, Andrei Gavrilovich Dubrovsky.

Heading to his sick father, Vladimir saw Masha and fell in love. In an effort to be closer to her, Dubrovsky ended up in the Troyekurovs’ house under the guise of a French teacher, Deforge. In the house, he was treated with respect as a teacher, especially after the incident when Vladimir, due to a cruel joke from the owner of the house, found himself locked in the same room with a bear. And if before everyone who was laughed at so much fell into fear, then Vladimir, on the contrary, showed courage and determination in this situation. He defeated the angry bear.

Before the incident with the bear, Masha, despite Vladimir’s kind disposition towards her, treated him coolly. She did not pay “any attention to the young Frenchman..., the teacher was for her a kind of servant or artisan, and the servant or artisan did not seem like a man to her.” Meanwhile, the brave act of Vladimir, who did not lose his head in the fight with the bear, and his words that he does not intend to endure an insult for which, due to his rank, he cannot demand satisfaction, made a strong impression on the young lady. For the first time, she looked at Vladimir not as a servant, but as a gentleman worthy of respect, and perhaps even love. Masha “saw that courage and proud pride do not exclusively belong to one class - and from then on she began to show the young teacher respect, which became more attentive hour by hour.” We can say that it was the story with the bear, in which Vladimir showed all the strength of his spirit and strong character, that became the beginning of his mutual love with the young lady.

Dubrovsky is honest. He openly admitted to Masha that he was a robber, and at the same time promised to be devoted to her and offered his help.

Meanwhile, Masha’s father, Kirill Troekurov, decided to marry his daughter to a middle-aged prince. Masha, in love with Vladimir, was, of course, against the marriage, but because of her modesty she could not openly contradict her father. And then the case came when Masha decided to use Dubrovsky’s help. She waited for salvation from him until the very last moment. Even during the wedding in the church, Masha still hoped for Vladimir’s help. Help came, but too late... By the time Dubrovsky arrived to help along with his robber friends, Masha was already married and became the wife of the prince she did not love. Despite her feelings for Dubrovsky, Masha did not change the oath she took in the church. Accustomed to obedience, modest and reserved, she answered Vladimir like this: “I swore an oath, my prince, my husband, order him to be released and leave me with him. I didn't cheat. I waited for you until the last minute... But now, I tell you, it’s too late.” Realizing that her fate was decided, that Dubrovsky could not help her, and that she would forever become the wife of another, Masha did not rush away at the first opportunity. She met hers with dignity new life, having come to terms with both the will of his father and his marriage.

And Vladimir himself also resigned himself to fate, meeting Masha’s refusal with dignity and no longer insisting on her release. He again retreated into the forest, to his fellow robbers, and then completely disappeared abroad.

This is how the love story of Masha and Vladimir began and ended.

Before you is an excellent example of an essay on the work of A.S. Pushkin on the theme MASHA AND DUBROVSKY. The essay is intended for 6th grade students, but can be used as an example in any class.

MASHA AND DUBROVSKY

In the story “Dubrovsky,” Pushkin introduces readers to two young heroes: Masha Troekurova and Vladimir Dubrovsky.

Their fathers were friendly from a young age, their estates were located next door. Troekurov even predicted young Dubrovsky to be his daughter’s groom. But the quarrel made Troekurov and Dubrovsky enemies.

Why did Masha and Dubrovsky fall in love with each other for the rest of their lives? Masha was seventeen years old, and her beauty was in “full color.” Of course, the young man could not help but pay attention to such a girl, and at the very first meeting, Dubrovsky-Deforge remained deeply grateful to Masha for her subtlety and delicacy when she translated her father’s rude words.

At first, Masha did not pay any attention to the young “Frenchman” and did not notice what a huge impression she made on him. According to her upbringing, she treated the teacher as a “kind of servant.”

The incident with the bear “made a great impression on Marya Kirilovna.” She realized for the first time that courage and dignity “do not exclusively belong to one class.” Masha began to show attention and respect to the young teacher. She could not help but notice his excellent education and refined manners while they played music together.

...Both Masha and Vladimir Dubrovsky were completely lonely people. Masha had neither a mother nor friends. She was never frank with her father.

By the time they met, Dubrovsky had lost everything: his position in society, his estate, his name.

Therefore, Masha and Vladimir were attracted to each other not only by sympathy, but also by common interests and kinship of souls. However, Dubrovsky-Deforge “did not go beyond the limits of respect and strict decency.” Masha “began to understand her own heart”; she was not indifferent to the young Frenchman. “Perhaps she was not yet in love, but at the first accidental obstacle or sudden persecution of fate, the flame of passion was bound to flare up in her heart.”

Masha had long been awaiting Deforge's recognition with excitement and some coquetry. And suddenly she hears: “I’m not what you assume... I’m Dubrovsky.”

Vladimir confesses to Masha that he must take “the first bloody revenge” on her father. But, he adds, “I realized that the house where you live is sacred, that not a single creature connected with you by ties of blood is subject to my curse. I have given up revenge."

Some time after separation from Dubrovsky, an event occurred in Masha’s life that shocked her. The girl was wooed by the old and rich Prince Vereisky. Kirila Petrovich happily agreed.

At Dubrovsky’s request, Masha comes to him on a date, where Vladimir offers to save her from her hated groom, but the girl does not agree to “be the cause of some horror.” Marya Kirilovna decides to become Dubrovsky's wife. Vladimir understands what responsibility he takes upon himself, but Vladimir had to take this decisive step - an attack on the wedding train, but this happened after the wedding. Masha made an oath to God. “It’s too late, I’m married, I’m the wife of Prince Vereisky.”

I think that Masha, although very young, was strong man, had a great sense of duty and responsibility. The same can be said about Vladimir. Although life pushed him onto the path of a robber, he was a robber-hero. He did not offend people, he helped the poor. Ordinary people loved him very much.

Perhaps Masha dreamed of such a knight while reading French novels. And such a person met on her way, but life is harsher than fairy tales.

I hope you liked the essay MASHA AND DUBROVSKY.
